OVERVIEW
The Yeshi Group created Mondial Cycle Nouvelle in 1979 in
Abidjan, Ivory Coast. Since then, the company has become one
of West Africa's largest distributors of two-wheel
transportation vehicles, general merchandise and hardware.
MCN operates more than 15 warehouses strategically located
throughout Ivory Coast. We cater to rural farmers and
middle-income clientele, as well as distributors and
resellers that servce regional market need with the
commodities we import.
HISTORY
Mondial Cycle Nouvelle proudly takes credit for having
revolutionized what was previously a very informal industry
by offering an unparalleled selection of quality products
and professional services. MCN now provides reginonal,
convenient, 'one-stop' shopping for commodities that improve
rural and urban living and transportation in sub-Saharan
West Africa.
Today, our stores and warehouses stock approximately 1,000
different types of bicycles, mopeds and motorcycles, as well
as spare parts, after-market products and general
merchandise. Our unique approach to distribution maintains
operations around all major agricultural villages, towns and
cities, as well as strategic locations near the borders of
land-locked, neighboring countries. In addition, although
Mondial Cycle Nouvelle currently operates exclusively in
Ivory Coast, we have antenna installations in Mali, Burkina
Faso, Guinea, Niger and Ghana. Distribution, availability
and bringing-to-market, remain the MCN's strongest assets
and attributes.
PRODUCTS
While Mondial Cycle Nouvelle is known principally for its
distribution of two-wheel transportation vechiles, we also
operate and/or assist the distribution networks of other
companies within the Yeshi Group. MCN markets several
specialty brands and products, such as aluminum sheets,
mopeds and bicycles, produced by other companies in the
Group.
